This exhibition cataloque explores the concept of the good life from different points of view such as morality, abundance and transience. Many of the themes still remain valid to this day. Dr. Minna Tuominen, an expert in the 17th century Dutch art, who was recently awarded a PhD for her thesis on the works of Edwaert Collier. She has authored the article in the exhibition catalogue introducing the theme of the “good life”.
